LP318 ULTRASONIC DOGCHASER®
LP318 Ultrasonic DogChaser
Instructions

Keeps those unfriendly dogs out of your way!!!

The new Ultrasonic DogChaser is the most humane and safe way to deter unfriendly dogs. It can also serve as a dog training device in conjunction with verbal or hand commands.

The Ultrasonic DogChaser emits sound waves in the range of 20KHz to 25KHz which is hardly audible by humans but cause discomfort to dogs and cats. This will deter the approach of a dog (or cat) and create a safe zone between you and them.

The Ultrasonic DogChaser is suitable to use by joggers, bicyclists, elderly persons, postmen and delivery personnel, or any person who is afraid of dogs. A MUST for families, restaurants and stores to chase out unwanted dogs or cats from their premises humanely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Why does my neighbour's dog stop barking when I direct the DogChaser at him?
Answer: When exposed to the ultrasounds produced by the DogChaser, your neighbour's dog is feeling uneasy and the uncertainty cause him to stop whatever he is doing at that time. Hence, the barking stops!

Question: The red LED light on DogChaser flashes intermittently, like a car indicator light. Is this normal?
Answer: Yes.

Question: Can you guarantee that it will work all the time?
Answer: Technical functionality is guaranteed for 1 year. 'Operational' effectiveness will of course vary according to the conditions and the type of canine temperament. DogChaser will not work on a deaf animal. It will be less effective in conditions of high background noise, or where you are in a down wind situation in windy conditions. On the other hand, DogChaser can scare dogs over 20 feet away where there are good acoustics, like a concrete underpass, and used in a room or building it can be particularly effective most of the time. You can see that it is possible to guarantee technical functionality but not effectiveness in any given situation, because we simply cannot predict how and under what conditions our products will be used. Tip: always make sure that when inserting a battery, the metal contact points inside the battery compartment are gently pulled forward to apply good pressure on the battery.

Question: Is DogChaser really that good?
Answer: Yes! We use DogChaser ourselves all the time when we are out. We find it to be highly effective and so do many of our customers. Many delighted users are purchasing additional DogChasers for other family members.

Question: How come the DogChaser doesn't 'chase away' my pet dog?
Answer: As the DogChaser doesn't harm or cause any physical pain to dogs, it will take a longer time to be effective to 'relocate' a dog from it's favourite spot in the house. A familiar environment plus the loyalty instinct of the pet dog means a longer time of exposure is required. Since the DogChaser is a portable gadget and will requires the user to continuously depress the button to emit the ultrasonic sound, often the user gave up before it even has the chance to take effect. A more suitable gadget will be the LP328 Ultrasonic AnimalChaser for the same purpose as it runs on AC mains. Please refer to the FAQ section of the AnimalChaser for details.

Question: Why are dogs afraid of the ultrasound waves generated from the DogChaser?
Answer: The dogs are not afraid of the ultrasounds, but rather, feels uneasy as these are sounds that they don't hear normally. Adds an unfamiliar environment (for strays) and with a stranger around, they would rather move away from the sound source.

Question: Does the DogChaser works on cats as well?
Answer: Cats and Dogs have similar hearing capabilities, and hence, the DogChaser can be used to chase cats away humanely as well.
