This gadget combines two healthy functions into one device - an Ionic Air Cleaner and an Ultrasonic 'attack wave' pest repeller. The single device brings you fresh, clean, healthy air and a pest-free living environment. 

The IonFresher generates negative ions to combine with pollutants (such as cigarette smoke, pollen, smog, car exhaust and dust) which are normally positively-charged. The resultant combination of negative and positive ions create particles heavy enough to cause them to fall to the floor - thus, giving you cleaner and fresher air.

The Pro-PestRepeller is equipped with auto-changing and auto-sweeping functions such that the ultrasonic sound waves generated is effective to repel pests and prevent them from immunity to a particular sweep rate frequency. The Pro-PestRepeller is effective in controlling mice, rats, cockroaches and most other household pests up to a range of 5,000 square feet. The ultrasonic waves generated are harmless to both humans and general household pets.

The IonFresher & Pro-PestRepeller will not interfere with televisions, radios, electronic burglar alarms, fire & smoke detectors, pacemakers, hearing aids or other electronic equipment.

Question: I have just bought one unit of the IonFresher & Pro-PestRepeller to try. Where should I put it?
Answer: Simply put it in a room infested with cockroaches (or rats). A good place to start is the kitchen - since both functions of the IonFresher and Pro-PestRepeller can be utilised as kitchens are normally the favourite hiding place for pests and are smoky. Simply place it on top of the refrigerator or the cabinet. Another possible place to put is in rooms near main roads due to the high level of dust and smoke particles. If pest repelling function is not needed (in these rooms), simply switch to the 'ION' only function.  

Question: Why does the red LED blinks occasionally?
Answer: The red LED light is the indicator for the Pro-PestRepeller during normal operation. Since the transducer generates ultrasonic waves within a frequency band (to prevent pests from being immune to a particular frequency), it is normal for the red LED light to blink. 

Question: Do I need to turn on both functions all the time?
Answer: You may if you would like to. Since pests are most active during the night, you should at least turn on the Pro-PestRepeller then. As for the IonFresher, you may leave it on throughout the day (and night) to get clean good air free of smoke/dust particles.

Question: What is the main difference between model LP218 Ultrasonic PestRepeller and LP228 IonFresher & Pro-PestRepeller ?
Answer: The LP218 has a slightly 'louder' ultrasonic waves and is strongly recommended for outdoor use where it is less quiet. This model is particularly useful in production floor, hawker centres, gardens, yards, coffee shops, food courts and shopping centres. Both the LP218 and LP228 can be used outdoors but recommended to be sheltered from rain and water.
